New Washington Law – ESB 5272
Washington's Engrossed Senate Bill 5272 (ESB 5272) strengthens protections for school employees, students, and athletic officials during school-sponsored extracurricular activities. Under ESB 5272, interference by force or violence, or intimidation by threat of force or violence, is a gross misdemeanor under Washington law and may result in school, district, and criminal consequences.
