Sumner Spartans are state champions
Congratulations to the Sumner High School football team and Coach Keith Ross for winning the state championships in a 27-24 game against Camas. The Spartans last won the state championships in 1977.

Prop. 1 passes - Thank you, voters!
We’re absolutely thrilled that Proposition 1 has passed, and we very much thank those who voted in support of the bond measure that will expand and improve our schools.
The district is excited to now move forward in implementing the much-anticipated bond projects, which include improvements districtwide.

The SHS football team will play for the state championship this Saturday at Husky Stadium against the Camas Papermakers.
